The Wanderers

 

Wanderers are long lived magic users who were reaped from the battlefield by Valkyries. For millennium they have served Verðandi(one of the Fates from Norse mythology). Their tasks has always been to roam the world, setting things right, preventing otherworldly creatures from invading man's home, and preventing ego-maniacal magic users from wreaking havoc on earth.

Raphael A. Semmes (Rafe), has been a Wanderer for more than forty years. His training was cut short by the death of his mentor at the hands of a rogue Wanderer, Rowle. Now, Rowle is trying to instigate Ragnarök  by opening the portals to other dimensions and allow all of mankind's darkest nightmares to invade Earth.

It's Rafe's job to stop him at any cost, even though he's outmatched.

The Wanderer series is currently four books with the fifth due out in 2018.

The series is available on audio at Audible.com. The first three novels have been released on audio and the fourth is due out in a few months.
